Matt joined the Credit Team at Century Health & Housing Capital in 2023. As Managing Director of Underwriting, Matt is responsible for underwriting oversight of all of Century’s MAP (Multifamily) and LEAN (Healthcare) transactions. Matt manages both the underwriting and processing teams and is also responsible for helping expand Century’s business initiatives.
Matt has nearly 20 years of experience in processing, underwriting, and screening MAP and LEAN transactions. In his career, he has underwritten and provided oversight on more than $1.5 billion in closed MAP and LEAN transaction volume. Prior to joining Century, Matt held several senior level FHA lending positions at Highland Commercial Mortgage, Hunt Real Estate Capital, Arbor Commercial Mortgage, Key Bank Real Estate Capital, and Love Funding. Matt holds both MAP and LEAN certifications and has been an approved FHA Chief Underwriter under HUD’s delegated authority program for the past several years. Matt is a graduate of Cleveland State University.
When he is not working, Matt, an avid sports fan, enjoys reading, golf and spending time with his family in Strongsville, Ohio.
