With expertise in HUD MAP and LEAN lending programs, Stephan is responsible for underwriting and assembling HUD insured multifamily and healthcare financing applications. He works with clients to analyze and evaluate borrower ownership structures, project and personal financial statements, credit reports, property rent rolls, insurance policies and other information needed to develop sound underwriting conclusions. Stephan also serves as a mentor and provides leadership to a group of mortgage analysts.
Prior to joining Century, Stephan worked as the Credit Director at regional construction materials wholesaler Kenseal Construction and served as the Credit Director at a boutique equipment leasing company. He has always been interested in finance and earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Delaware and his MBA from the University of Baltimore.
He is a member of the Eastern Lending Association and Mortgage Bankers Association, as well as being licensed as a HUD Approved Multifamily (MAP) Underwriter and Healthcare (LEAN) Underwriter. In his free time, Stephan enjoys craft beer, travel and has visited 20 countries to date.
