Brian brings 20 years of FHA experience to his role as Managing Director of FHA Loan Programs at Century, where he helps clients evaluate and obtain FHA-insured loans. During his career, he has participated in the origination, underwriting, and closing of more than $1 billion of FHA-insured loans. He has worked in HUD offices throughout the United States on behalf of both market-rate and affordable housing property owners and has significant experience working on properties which feature low-income housing tax credits and Section 8 rental subsidy contracts.
Prior to joining Century, Brian was a founding member and FHA Chief Underwriter at Hampden Park Capital. Previously, he served as a Deputy Chief Underwriter for FHA loan programs at both Walker & Dunlop and CWCapital. Most recently, Brian operated a consulting firm, FHA Preservation Solutions, which provided Owners and Lenders with support related to HUD’s multifamily grant, loan and subsidy programs.
Brian is an FHA MAP and LEAN-approved underwriter and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies from Quinnipiac University.
